Kirsty Muir: British freestyle skier set to miss rest of season with knee injury

Great Britain’s Kirsty Muir is set to miss the remainder of the 2023-24 season with a knee injury.

The freestyle skier, 19, finished third at the Freeski Big Air World Cup event in Copper Mountain earlier this month.

GB Snowsport said “following the Copper Mountain World Cup” Muir “sustained a rupture to her anterior cruciate ligament and damage to her meniscus”.

It added the injury “is expected to sideline the Scot for the remainder of the 2023-24 season”.
